人間不識精誠苦。貪看青青舞。驀然斂袂卻亭亭。怕是曲中猶帶、楚歌聲。 (辛棄疾)回望項羽少年壯志，意氣風發，時勢與機遇就如芳草遇春風，得意蓬勃。誰料由盛轉衰，英雄力竭，悲歌悠然而生。跟虞姬帳飲訣別，從此分離，項羽烏江自刎，虞姬又如何呢？ 世人只見表面風華，不知一生精誠的苦惱。 只為怕曲中帶有楚歌聲，引來四面楚歌，兵孤無援的情緒。虞美人不失風骨，忽然停止歌舞，暗整衣袖、收起風姿。 項羽垓下之圍，在十面埋伏，四面楚歌下，認為大勢已去，帳中酌酒，對著虞姬唱起「力拔山兮氣蓋世。時不利兮騅不逝。騅不逝兮可奈何！虞兮虞兮奈若何！」虞姬唱和：「漢兵已略地，四方楚歌聲。大王意氣盡，賤妾何聊生。」 辛棄疾一生忠誠於恢復中原，卻屢遭閒置，正是「精誠苦」的寫照。他一生中從沒有一位能與他共悲共舞、唱和垓下之歌的摯愛，但他心中的虞姬，該是理解者、共鳴者、終誠的伴侶；她未曾現身，卻在每一闋悲詞中低語。 壯志未酬、孤懷難訴，辛棄疾只有借古人杯酒，澆自己塊壘，是英雄的悲劇，也是理想的幻滅。詞中楚歌未絕，人間孤懷猶長，精誠之苦，無人識；悲歌之後，可奈何！
