萬里無寸草

萬里無寸草，迥迥絕煙霞，

萬劫長如是，何須更出家？

不是蒼涼或孤寂，而是淡然、超脫。簡潔的語言，點出宇宙「無色無相」的本質。

以極端的語言（無、絕）來打破眾生對現象的執著，指向「非相」的空性。修行者不應停留於「草存」「霞美」的表象，也不應執著於「無草」「絕霞」的反面，而是超越二元對立，悟入「四大皆空」「五蘊非我」的境界。

若已明白這一點，出家不過是形式一種罷了。

Across ten thousand miles, not a blade of grass,

Far and lone, no trace of mist or glow,
For countless eons, it has ever been thus,
Why then must one still renounce the world?
