塵勞迥脱事非常

塵勞迥脱事非常，緊把繩頭做一場，

不是一番寒徹骨，爭得梅花撲鼻香？

想有所得，就必先有所受。沒有那番苦寒，哪來的清香？

能從世俗的紛擾中拉出來不是尋常小事。修行得抓緊關鍵、全力以赴；沒有過程中的磨礪淬鍊，又怎能得見自性?

寒不是外來的苦，香也不是外賜的賞，只是我們凡夫把它分成因和果；寒與香本來無二，就是自性真如。

Breaking free from worldly toil is no common feat,

Seize the rope’s end tight and forge through the fray.

Without a chill that pierces to the bone,

How could the plum blossom’s fragrance strike the soul?
